SHEETS FAMILY PARK

Due to generous support from our community, we are excited to announce the development of the Sheets Family Park. An inclusive park in the heart of Steuben County.
Located on the east end of the YMCA Campus, this park will include an Inclusive Playground, Splash Pad, Pickleball Courts, Pavillion, and Community Gathering Space. For over 23 years the YMCA has been strengthening our community through life changing programs and services. When Chuck Sheets and his family donated additional land to the Y in 2015, we knew this was an opportunity to further our mission by extending our reach beyond our walls. Through our community needs assessment and research, it was apparent an accessible community park was what our community needed and wanted! The Sheets Family Park with its Splash pad, Playground, and Pickleball courts, will be open to all!

There will be no fee or membership needed to access the park and its many amenities.
Through the silent phase of our Capital Campaign, we have raised $2.6 million toward our overall goal of $5.5 million. Those who have pledged to the Sheets Family Park include; the Angola Parks Department, Steuben County Commissioners, City of Angola, The Steuben County Community Foundation, Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, First Federal Saving Bank of Angola, Gary Stroh and Family and many others!
With your help, we can make this dream a reality!
